Astrid Schütte studierte an der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden bei Prof. Ivan Zenaty, wo sie sowohl ihr Diplom als auch das Konzertexamen erhielt. Sie war Mitglied des „Jungen Dresdner Streichquartetts“, das sie während des Studiums mit gründete, des Landesjugendorchesters NRW, der Jungen Dortmunder Sinfoniker, des Greater Bridgeport Symphony Youth Orchestra und des RIAS-Jugendorchesters. Seit 2002 ist sie Mitglied der Staatskapelle Weimar, seit 2004 als Vorspielerin der 2. Violinen. Sie widmet sich auch intensiv der Neuen Musik, so z. B. im „Ensemble Marges“ und mit dem „Aurelia-Streichquartett“.

Astrid Schütte studied at the Carl Maria von Weber conservatoire in Dresden with Prof. Ivan Zenaty, and was awarded her diploma there as well as passing her concert examination. She was a member of the “Young Dresden String Quartet”, which she co-founded as a student, and of the Youth Orchestra of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Young Dortmund Symphony, the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Youth Orchestra and the RIAS Youth Orchestra. She has been a member of the Weimar Staatskapelle since 2002, where since 2004 she leads the second-violin section. She is intensively engaged in contemporary music, both in Ensemble Marges - for example - and with the Aurelia String Quartet.
